Not so long ago, a wealthy client’s relationship with their financial adviser or investment manager would simply be passed onto the next generation along with the client’s wealth – but that no longer automatically holds true. These days, the wealthy are likely to be more enquiring, to take recommendations from their peers and to seek alternative advice options – which means there needs to be a compelling reason to remain with the incumbent adviser. This live Investment Week webinar, in association with IRESS, will therefore consider how wealth management and other financial advisory firms are transforming themselves to rise to this new challenge, the strategies they can adopt to retain existing clients and acquire new ones and the key role that technology can play in this crucial area of business development.
