Paris joined Waverton in 2021 as a multi asset analyst, specialising in fund selection. Paris has held roles at Sanlam managing over £2bn in advisory and private client portfolios, and prior to that worked at Fidelity. She has a proven track record across a variety of asset classes and a notable specialism in ethical and sustainable investing. She is the Co-founder of the ethical investing network, Virtuvest and a Trustee of Rising Girl. Paris was ranked a Top 30 under 30 Investor by Citywire in both 2020 and 2021 and was awarded WeAreTheCity's Rising Star in Investment Management Award. She is a CFA Charterholder and holds the CFA ESG Certificate. She has been shortlisted for Fund Selector of the Year at the Investment Week Women In Investment Awards 2021.
Amanda is the Global Head of Responsible Investment at abrdn. She has had over two decades of experience in responsible investment. She leads the Responsible Investment activities within the investment team in support of abrdn’s asset classes, including the development of abrdn’s sustainability funds. Previously, Amanda held positions in responsible investment and economic research at Newton Investment Management, CCLA Investment Management and Rabobank International. Amanda graduated from Lancaster University with a BSc in Psychology and has completed the University of Edinburgh Business School’s Executive Women’s Leadership Programme. Amanda led a workstream for the UK Government’s Taskforce on social impact investment and is a board director for Social Investment Scotland’s SIS Ventures fund. She currently Chairs the FTSE Russell ESG Advisory Committee and is deputy Chair of the Sustainability and Responsible Investment Committee of the Investment Association. She served on the board of the UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association (UKSIF) for six years. Amanda has appeared on the Financial News top 100 most influential women in European Finance for five years from 2017 to 2021.
