Webinar Description:
Major central banks are at different points in their interest rate cycles – yet they appear on the same path to a peak.
As they reach their highest point - and we begin to focus on the next phase in the interest rate cycle - a historic investor opportunity may be in the making for bond investors. After the Federal Reserve’s final hike in the last four cycles, fixed income returns were strong over the ensuing years, often especially so when compared to more volatile risk assets such as equities.
So, if we are really seeing ‘peak’ rates – where should fixed income investors focus their attention this time around?
And what about when we are past the peak?
Join Capital Group in our new series, Investment, Talks, in association with Investment Week, Professional Pensions and Professional Adviser. We’ll explore the options for investors and what we can learn from history about this unique investment opportunity.
